Client Focus: L’Amour

June 24, 2024 by Kate Lawless

Many Franklin County residents are familiar with Namaste Indian and Nepalese Restaurant on Main Street in Greenfield. Owner Sunny Rana and his business partner, Asif Khan, recently opened a new restaurant, L’Amour, at 111 Chestnut Street in Springfield, near the Cultural Quadrangle.

L’Amour celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Nepal, India, Pakistan, and the Mediterranean in a space that has been completely renovated, facilitating great flow and various dining options in the main dining room, at the full service bar, and in the banquet hall or VIP Room, both of which are available for private celebrations and events.

The FCCDC provided a working capital loan to ensure a smooth opening cushion for the new business as Sonny and Asif welcome you to their establishment. Funding from the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation made business technical assistance and the loan possible.

FCCDC Lending Director Glen Ohlund participated in the Grand Opening on May 17. We encourage you to stop in the next time you are visiting the Quadrangle, the MassMutual Center, or any of the numerous great events in Springfield throughout the year.
