COVID Recovery Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program

Western MA Microenterprise Forgivable Loans What is this program? Microenterprise Assistance forgivable loans of up to $25,000 are available to businesses to help cover documented business losses due to the COVID-19 economic shut down that are not covered by other funding programs. Businesses with five or fewer employees may qualify for a forgivable loan funded through the federal CARES Act and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The Franklin County CDC is implementing the forgivable loan programs for $600,000 for 23 towns in Franklin County administered by the City of Greenfield and for $108,000 for the City of North Adams.

Updates from March 27th: The FCCDC’s subcommittee for COVID-19 response in partnership with the entire FCCDC staff and board have been following a new and very vigilant set of precautions to “flatten the curve”. FCCDC staff are working remotely, please continue to email and call us. We are practicing increased sanitation as well as social distancing to limit touch points in our building.
