Business Training is available from a variety of organizations and consultants:

1) Franklin County CDC
Offers a combination of business classes and workshops

  • Explore Going Into Business: How to Prepare to Be a Business Owner — A 3-session, 9-hour class

  • Plan for Success: Business Planning for New and Established Entrepreneurs — A 12-week, 36-hour business plan class offered in the fall and spring
    with industry expert guest speakers. This class is designed to walk participants through the business plan process providing an opportunity for individual support that helps to develop a solid draft or completed business plan. View the Business Planning Syllabus

  • Make Google Work For You!
    Learn how Google can enhance your business and online presence!
    Thursdays January 8 & 15 6-9pm at the FCCDC    
    Cost $15 (bring laptops- but not required)               Pre-registration required.
    Session 1: Open a free email google account and/or Website for less than $1/month
    Session 2: Learn how to use Google Applications that includes a multi user calendar and documents available for sharing with anyone anywhere.   Coordinate employee schedules, production schedules and timeline for projects. Staying ahead in business means staying organized, with these free, and easy to use tools.
